What can I expect during my first Microneedling or RF Microneedling treatment?
During your first Microneedling treatment, you will be paired up with a skilled technician who will review your medical history, understand your goals, and prep your Microneedling treatment. Our treatments involve using tiny needles to create micro-punctures in the skin which triggers the body's wound healing process, stimulating collagen and elastin production. Our treatments can involve slight discomfort, but a topical anesthetic will be applied to minimize this. After the treatment, your technician will provide you with aftercare instructions to ensure optimal results.
What Radio Frequency Microneedling device do you use ?
We use the Candela Matrix™ device. This device merges microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to trigger collagen synthesis and improve skin texture.
How do these treatments compare to Morpheus8?
While both our Candela Matrix and Morpheus8 are RF Microneedling devices aimed at stimulating collagen, tightening skin, and improving texture, Matrix has design features that can offer greater comfort without sacrificing effectiveness. One of the key advantages is that Matrix uses ultra-thin microneedles (thinner than many RF microneedling tips) which tend to cause less epidermal trauma, less discomfort, and faster healing. Additionally, Matrix provides the ability to deliver RF energy at multiple depths in a single insertion, which means fewer passes are required, reducing downtime and risk of side effects. Morpheus8 is powerful and excels for deeper tissue remodeling, skin laxity, and fat modulation, but its deeper needle depths and larger needles often mean more pain, longer recovery, and greater risk in very thin or sensitive skin. Therefore, for patients seeking more tolerable treatments with quicker recovery—especially in delicate areas—Matrix may be a better option while still delivering strong rejuvenation results.
Does Microneedling hurt?
No! Microneedling is very tolerable and only comes with occasional minimal discomfort. Before your treatment, we will apply a topical anesthetic on the treated areas which is a life saver (trust us!). Throughout your treatment, your provider will work with you and adjust the treatment to make sure you are comfortable.
How much do Microneedling & RF Microneedling cost?
Our SkinPen Microneedling treatments starts from as low as $300 for members and $350 for non-members. Our RF Microneedling treatment is $700 for members and $850 for non members.
What is the downtime for Microneedling?
Microneedling downtime is minimal, typically consisting of 1 to 3 days of redness similar to a mild sunburn. During this time, you may also experience some dryness, tightness, and slight tenderness, and makeup can usually be applied after 24 hours. Following your provider's aftercare instructions, such as using sunscreen and gentle moisturizers, is crucial for a smooth recovery and best results.
What areas are treated?
For both our Microneedling and RF Microneedling services, we treat the full face area. You can add on the neck for a small $50 upcharge.
