How much does laser tattoo removal cost?
At CLEO, we are committed to increasing access to high quality tattoo removal. Our pricing starts at only $100 per session for XS treatment areas at our locations in Minneapolis & Detroit. We urge all customers to do their research before committing to a long term contract and assure that their treatment is being performed with a picosecond laser and an experienced technician.
Does tattoo removal hurt?
With our next-gen Candela Picoway Laser & Zimmer Cryo devices, tattoo removal is no longer super stressful. Though this isn't a discomfort-free experience - it is a far-cry from the experience your mom told you about when she warned you about getting your first tattoo. Most of our customers describe the laser as feeling like getting a light slap from a rubber band.
Is laser tattoo removal safe?
Under the care of the right provider with a next-gen device like the Candela Picoway, laser tattoo removal has a very high level of safety. The biggest risks comes from improper aftercare, but this can be easily avoided if you adhere to our aftercare instructions.
Can I lighten a tattoo for a coverup?
Yes ! Tattoo lightening is a specialty at CLEO and we love working with artists to make sure each client gets a tattoo they love. Most clients will only need 3-5 sessions to start new cover-up tattoos.
How long does it take to remove a tattoo?
Full removal typically can take 4-8 treatments spaced out 6-8 weeks apart. Your laser technician at Cleo will be able to give you a more precise sense during your first appointment as many different factors influence your body's ability to break down ink.
Do you do microblading or permanent makeup removal?
Yes! Permanent makeup removal starts at $200 per session and typically requires 4 sessions lasting no more than 20 minutes.
What is the healing process like post treatment?
After your laser treatment, it is common to experience mild warming and tenderness for 2-5 days. After a few days, the outer layer of your skin will heal but it's important to keep in mind that the internal layers may require up to 4-6 weeks fully heal. Clients should avoid:
- Extended sunlight exposure
- Exposing the treated area to heat
- Vigorous exercise
- Saunas / Soaking in hot water
Do you do eyeliner tattoo removal?
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer this treatment at CLEO. For permanent makeup removal we specialize in cosmetic eyebrow tattoos and microblading removal.
